About Xiaomi Redmi S2 Phablet

The Redmi S2 cheapest model will come with up to 16GB of onboard storage. Though the RAM configuration is still unknown, we expect the Redmi S2 to come with at least 2GB RAM with a possibility of 3GB+32GB variant as well.

The biggest talking point of the phone will be its cameras. The Redmi S2 reportedly flaunts a 12MP Sony IMX486 or 12MP OmniVision OV12A10 sensor at the rear and a 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 sensor on the front for selfies. As per XDA, the Redmi S2 optics will come with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation), and a Portrait mode for blurred-background images. The phone is likely to feature a 3080mAh battery and will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI ROM on debut. The phone will also support microSD card and will include face unlock feature.
