About Ring Stick Up Cam Home Security

Ring is best known for its Ring Video Doorbell, a $199 Wi-Fi-enabled buzzer with a built-in 720p high-definition camera. The doorbell uses a HD (720p) camera and connects to your wireless network to alert you of any motion (day or night) and any alerts if anyone rings the bell itself right on your smartphone, computer or tablet.

The Stick Up Cam isn’t the first outdoor camera we’ve come across, but its wireless setup is fairly unusual. Netgear’s Arlo cameras, rated for both indoor and outdoor use, are also battery-powered.
